How We Help

'Tutors for GRT' project

This project helps Gypsy, Roma and Traveller pupils to connect with DBS checked volunteer tutors during (and hopefully after) the Covid-19 school closures. The project takes into consideration parents possible illiteracy and digital exclusion levels.

Read all about the impact of digital exclusion on GRT pupils here, in a case study we presented to the HEAR network in June 2020.

"Today went great, my sons confidence has increased after one session! The tutor took the time to explain everything so carefully."

(Quote from Parent accessing the Tutoring project for Child)
