The Traveller Movement is delighted to announce that tickets are now on sale for its 19th Annual Conference, Power, Place, Participation: Delivering Inclusive Devolution for Romani (Gypsy), Roma and Traveller Communities, taking place on Thursday 26 November 2026 at Lambeth Town Hall, London. The conference marks nineteen years of bringing together community voices, lived experience experts, policymakers, elected representatives, academics, practitioners and allies to address the issues that matter most to Romani Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities across the United Kingdom.

Recognised as The Traveller Movement’s flagship annual event, the conference has become one of the most established and influential gatherings focused on Romani (Gypsy), Roma and Irish, Scottish, and Welsh Traveller communities in the UK. For nineteen years it has provided a national platform for discussion, evidence-sharing, partnership building and action, bringing together community voices, lived experience experts, decision-makers and practitioners to tackle inequalities, influence policy and develop solutions that create lasting change.

This year’s conference comes at a pivotal moment. As the UK enters a new era of devolved decision-making, Power, Place, Participation will explore what local power means for Romani (Gypsy), Roma and Traveller communities and how inclusive devolution can ensure that communities traditionally excluded from decision-making are not left behind. The conference will examine how power can be shared more effectively, how participation can be strengthened, and how local decision-making can deliver meaningful and equitable outcomes.

Delegates will have the opportunity to hear from community voices, lived experience experts, policymakers, elected representatives, academics and practitioners who are working to address inequalities and create opportunities for change. Through keynote speeches, panel discussions and networking opportunities, attendees will explore practical approaches to strengthening representation and influence at both local and national levels.
